I
received my electronics: the controller and the
power supply.
The controller is a kit and it seems pretty easy to assemble. There is not circuit diagram tough....wonder way.
On the HobbyCNC web site, it says that all the info will be on the Yahoo group called "HobbyCNC". Problem is that the group is locked. I will figure it out later.
The assembling is pretty easy: one hour at the most.
I do the 5.0 volt test with a 12 Volt power supply (I don't dare to hook the much more powerfull power supply that I bought: everything is fine.
For the final current adjustment I use the real power supply: no problems

I am a
little uneasy on trying out the stepper since I
have been reading so many post about burning the
chips. So i will spend some time checking
everything out.
